The core content of my work focuses on creating a space that uses various shapes to push and pull the composition in order to create a myriad of perspectives. Sometimes I choose to use architectural elements to create a space that is surreal, making the staircases an excellent facilitator for both movement and ideas.

Older forms and styles of architecture appeal more, as they show that those structures have existed through many centuries, indicating a solid, almost permanent attribute of the same. While using these forms, I include the staircase as it creates an illusion of levels or floors, and also give the viewer a sense of direction. They often do not give a definite answer to the same, but the idea is to show that we are in a state of flux.
